Some Random Thoughts

Blogging has become almost painful. My router is broken and thus there is no internet on my computer, so here I am using my brother's, but the connection has gone totally wonky on me and I have to wait forever for pages to load. Not to mention the fact that the spacebar on this keyboard sticks and I have to go back thorugh my sentences and insert spaces.

Not that I'm complaining.

You know what I wish? I wish the new curriculum would teach kids how to shut up. That sounds so mean...what I really mean is this:
I'm writing my second last exam last Thursday (yes, another exam story), and the kids are being annoyingly loud in the hall. Of course, they have Summatives to do, which means that they really have nothing to do but to stand at their lockers and be disrespectful. So anyway, I'm writing and writing and basically kicking this exam's a**, when I catch a bit of a conversation.

Some boys are discussing a World Issues exam or something like it....
Boy 1: So, what's the big problem with China?
Boy 2: I don't know...they smell?
Me: WHAT?!
Then they laughed and I'm sure hilarity ensued.

So in addition to teaching kids how to shut up, the new curriculum should also teach kids to be smarter so they don't end up like that.
